GREG TOPPLE'S TOPCAT'S NACHOS

A great family nachos!
 
400 grms beef or chicken mince
1/2 teaspoon salt {optional}
1 ts cumin
2 Red chillies {optional}
1 can of refried beans
1/2 pkt of taco seasoning mix
1 med onion sliced small
2 cups of cheese
2/3 cup of BBCC SALSA PICANTE
Corn chips.
Heat skillet at Med -Hi temp, brown meat & onions.  Drain well
Return meat & onions add cumin and cook, mixing well.
In Large mixing bowl, add refried beans & Taco seasoning, mixing well.
Add grated cheese to taco & bean mixture.
Spread refried bean mixture in shallow bowl {heatproof/nachos bowl}.
Approx 12" Dia
Cover bean mixture with browned meat & onions.
Sprinkle chopped chiles evenly over meat mixture.
Top with grated cheese.
Bake uncovered in 200c oven for 20 - 30 minutes or untill heated through and cheese is cooked.
Place corn chips around the edge and garnish.
Enjoy
Salsa is spooned on top before or after you bake it.
