Garlic & Chilli Steak Butter

This butter is delicious as a topping for grilled steak, spread for hot bread, or on baked potatoes. Definitely yum and easy!

Ingredients

  • 6 large unpeeled garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 125g butter
  • 2-4 tablespoons Byron Bay Chilli Co Sizzlin Cayenne Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
  • 4 thick sirloin steaks

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 200C
  2. Roast unpeeled garlic in the olive oil until soft, about 20 minutes
  3. Cool and squeeze garlic out of the skin
  4. In a processor, blend butter until light
  5. Add garlic and the olive oil it was roasted in and blend
  6. Then add Red Cayenne Chilli Sauce and coriander and blend
  7. Grill 4 thick steaks until cooked to your liking
  8. Season with salt and pepper
  9. Garnish with a small scoop of the spicy butter
